Micky Geraldo Aviles - Manager of Dairy Goats While Micky's role has changed over the course of the 9 years he's worked on the ranch, his main focus currently is on our dairy goats. Vaqueros

Our Vaquero Team is an integral part of our Holistic Management Program.  They carefully move the cattle throughout the ranch as a tool to till and fertilize the land helping to restore ecosystems natural cycles and increase biodiversity.

Adolfo Aviles Geraldo The eldest vaquero, he is full of knowledge of the land and has taught us about the water sources on the ranch. He is in charge of having these water sources connected through a hose network to the different paddocks so the cattle have enough water to drink.

Jose Antonio Geraldo Geraldo (Toño) Toño is the vaquero in charge of the electric fences in the grazing program. These fences are a very useful tool to have a more direct impact of tilling and fertilizing that we want the cattle to have on the land.

Rodrigo Aviles Geraldo (Rigo) Rigo is the vaquero in charge of the mules and dogs that are used in the grazing program. To move the cattle around it is much easier to move on mules through the rough country we have on the ranch, and the Australian shepherds have been very useful for these purposes too.
