Whispers of the Mictlán at Rancho Cacachilas

  • Gaspareño, Rancho Cacachilas (map)

Celebrate Día de Muertos at Rancho Cacachilas with an evening full of tradition and local flavor. Enjoy guided tours through the ranch, admire the traditional altar honoring our loved ones, and indulge in a buffet dinner prepared with regional ingredients.
Between live music, candlelight, and the scent of cempasúchil flowers, you’ll experience a magical night that connects the spirit of Mictlán with the beauty of the Sierra.

Experience the magic of Día de Muertos in an extraordinary natural setting. Susurros del Mictlán at Rancho Cacachilas celebrates life and memory among mountains, stars, and living traditions in the heart of the Sierra.

This experience blends culture, nature, and flavor. A traditional altar illuminated by candles and marigolds honors those who came before us, while guided tours reveal the ranch’s history and regenerative spirit.

The buffet delights with tamales colorados, mole negro with pork, stuffed squash blossoms, blue corn sopes, pan de cazuela, pan de muerto, and pumpkin dessert with anise—accompanied by fresh beverages, coffee, hot chocolate, and the artisanal “Mictlán” cocktail.

Under the glow of the bonfire, live music and stargazing bring the night to a perfect close. Every detail connects tradition, soul, and nature in Baja California Sur.
